SHORT BIO 

Degg Newman began focusing his musical skill set within the area of music for visual media in 2014. A working musician for over 4 decades (kit drums/percussion) before developing his own identity as a composer, sync licensing producer and Sound Designer. Successful placements include short You Tube, Tik Tok & Facebook videos to NHK Media Broadcasting in Japan, RTL Broadcasting in the Netherlands, Alliance Instagram Broadcasting in Korea and BBC and BBC iPlayer productions in the UK all broadcasting worldwide.

Tension, crime, forensic and investigative drama themes and underscores with pulsing motion, atmospheric piano and suspenseful percussive movement for Film, TV, Trailers, Commercials and Video Games.

Degg works with various music libraries / publishers in the UK, Europe and US. His love for music and sounds transcends many genres but its his tension, dark ambient and haunting melodies where you recognise a unique style thanks to his true passion for "emotion, genuineness, and spontaneity”.
